Dr. Ruth Ann W. Vandevender grew up in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. She graduated from West Virginia University with undergraduate and graduate degrees. Dr. V, as she goes by, graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She is an active member of the West Virginia University Alumni Band. Dr. V enjoys farming, distance bicycling, and working on the family blueberry and raspberry farms.
